During the culinary experience Among the Vines, you can sit down for a 4-course dinner at Thorn Winery on 14, 15, 16 and 17 May. In the middle of the vines, you enjoy an asparagus menu at one long table. Local wine, good food and views over the vineyard come together here.
Dining in the vineyard
As the sun slowly sets over the vineyard, dinner is served among the vines of Thorn Winery. You sit at a long table outdoors, right in the middle of the estate. This makes the evening calm, atmospheric and close to the place where the wine is made.
Asparagus takes centre stage
The 4-course dinner is served as a table d’hôte. This means you sit down at a shared table and enjoy a menu that has been carefully put together in advance. Chef Peter Hendrix of Smaakvol Catering prepares the dishes and brings the asparagus season back in every course.
Wine with dinner
During dinner, you can choose a matching wine arrangement on location. With each dish, a wine from Thorn Winery is served that matches the flavours on your plate. This way, you taste not only the season, but also the vineyard around you.
